Michael Hudson was born in Cozad, Nebraska and moved to Broken Bow in 1981. After graduating from high school he attended college at the University of Colorado in Fort Collins. In 1990 Michael became a police officer in Wichita, Kansas. In 1998 he moved back to Dawson County and joined the Sheriff’s Department where he is now Chief Deputy, supervising 75 Sheriff’s Office employees. Mike and his wife, Stacy, have one son and 4 daughters and reside in Cozad. He has a strong interest in our country’s history and would like to see it preserved. Being on the Board of Directors of the Dawson County Historical Society provides him with the opportunity to preserve Dawson County’s history and meet new people.
